We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in delivering a range of activities to young people in primary schools.

The Sports Development service provides young people with a wide range of year-round Sport, Dance and physical activity opportunities, including daytime, evenings, weekends and holiday periods. Activities are delivered across School, Community and Leisure Facility settings, with the aim of increasing participation levels.

The role will require flexibility to work across various school and facilities.

You will be provided with full uniform and any equipment required to undertake your job role.
- Experience of delivering sport / PE based activities within a school environment
- Experience of delivering out of school activities
- Experience of working with children and young people across the age and ability range.
- Experience of working with teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and learning activities.
- An NGB Level 2 Qualification or equivalent

Training will be provided if necessary and confirmation of the appointment can only be granted during the probationary period to those individuals who attain the above qualifications.

A DBS check is a requirement of the role.

The contract is for 20 hours per week term time which
include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday afternoons and a full day on a Thursday.
Additional hours may be available within other areas of the business, up to full time hours if requested.
