An established provider of Procurement & Logistics services to the Oil & Gas, Mining & Energy sectors has an opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist to join their UK based team. This role will require experience in sourcing a wide range of goods, materialsand services, together with exceptional relationship building skills to develop supplier partnerships and performance. You will naturally be a self-starter with energy and drive, together with a collaborative approach to team work. Hybrid working and internationaltravel opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers
- Managing supplier relationships to streamline the relationship to ensure growth and maturity for the business.
- Support the tender process
- Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Develop the existing Product category, making improvements and appoint approved suppliers to each category.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with strong organizational skills
- The ability to think strategically.
- 2+ years of experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred. CIPS, CPM or APICS certification preferred.
