We are looking to recruit an apprentice for our small friendly nursery located in Upper Tean.

The position will lead to a qualification in early years whilst working alongside a supportive team of early years practitioners. The starting wage for this position is £5.50 per hour, after a 3 month probationary period it rises to £6.00 per hour.

Training will be provided by St Thomas’s Day Nursery, with external assessors visiting on a monthly basis to discuss progress and provide work based modules. This training system allows for on the job training and cuts out the need to attend college. Other mandatory training will be required such as safeguarding, health and safety, basic food hygiene, etc.

Applicants must be hard working, enjoy mud and mess, be enthusiastic and show a willingness to learn.
