Inspire FM is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of supporting and enhancing the development of local people. Our key focus involves engaging with the public through training, projects and events with dynamic and innovative production dedicated to delivering high-quality programming that informs, entertains, and engages our diverse audience. We are now looking for a talented and creative Video Podcast Producer to join our team and help us create compelling content for a Community award winning station.

**Measures of success**:
In the first few months, you would have:
- Built positive relationships and trust with presenters and the wider Inspire FM broadcast and content team.
- Worked on various shows across the station, maintaining a deep understanding of the culture to ensure each day is unique and engaging
- Delivered engaging content, show features, and interviews.
- Contributed creative ideas during planning sessions for key moments in Inspire FM calendar.
- Collaborated with presenters, as well as digital and programming teams, to research, prepare, edit, and broadcast in-studio interviews for both on-air and Social Media Channels.
- Developed a strong collaborative relationship with Inspire FM digital team, driving forward our digital content strategy, including our industry leading app, Social Media Channels.
**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Video Podcast Producer, who will be instrumental in delivering the key components of the podcast's production process. You will have a proven track record both on the technical tools as well as a deep expertise in creating content for platforms like YouTube & Social Media primary distribution platforms. You will have a comprehensive background in video production, including proven experience with cameras, microphones, audio and editing software, with a track record of developing, and managing successful video first content. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creative vision, data-driven obsession, and hands-on operational expertise to produce the exceptionally engaging work that resonates with audiences across multi-channel distribution.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Production: Working with stakeholders, oversee the end to end production of podcast episodes, from planning and recording to editing and publishing, ensuring high-quality video and audio output.
- Technical Expertise: Oversee and deliver all technical aspects of the podcast production, including camera operation, sound recording, and lighting. Collaborate with the Edit team on the post-production editing including Episodes, Trailers, Clips and Social Assets.
- Data & Performance Analysis: Lead the analysis of Podcast performance data across all platforms to understand audience behaviour and algorithm impact. Use these insights to inform content creation, optimise promotion strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross Team Collaboration: Work directly with hosts, guests, the editing team and other cross functional teams to create compelling, fast growth podcast content strategies that unite under a single podcast brand vision
- Operational & Budget Management. Lead the scheduling and coordination of recordings and post production efforts to ensure a smooth production process that is of the highest of standards, on time and on budget
- Innovation: Stay engaged with industry trends and emerging platforms, continuously seeking innovative ways to present and distribute podcast content to engage with new and existing audiences across all platforms.
- Creative Direction: Provide support in the data driven creative direction for Episodes, Trailers and Clips, including Episode theme development, guest selection, and narrative structure. Ensuring content aligns with data driven insights on audience interests, optimising for audience engagement and growth.
- Innovative Production Processes: Obsess over optimisations and implementations that refine and redefine production processes to consistently improve workflows.
- Team Player: Be instrumental in fostering a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, innovation, exceptional quality and experimentation.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in video or social first production and editing, with an exceptional portfolio in successful content creation including event coverage.
- Experience using the tools and technologies that are required in this role, a willingness to continuously learn new techniques.
- Ability to work with high profile talent aligning creative vision, with company goals and data based execution.
- Resilient, motivated and empathetic team skills with proven experience in working in fast paced, and exceptionally high standard production environments.
