Technical Officer

**Your role**
To provide knowledgeable, technical administrative support for the Technical Supply Chain function.
Regular communication internally with Moy park factories, NPD and other functions, and externally with suppliers, to deliver sound supplier approval, risk assessment, accurate specifications and other reference documents, and clear trending and reporting of supplier performance.
Ensure information is written accurately, in full, with a right first time approach; and turned around in line with critical path timeframes.
**What you’ll need**
- 3rd level qualification and/or a minimum of 1 years experience in similar FMCG food industry
- Knowledge of BRC standard, HACCP and Food Legislation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Good level of experience in IT packages e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point, Databases
- Self-motivated, well organised, structured, assertive and able to use own initiative
- Good attention to detail
