**About the role**

We are currently looking to appoint a Field Service Controller to join the service team at our head offices in Harrogate.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team where you will be working in a fast paced environment to manage a busy workload of machinery breakdown and maintenance calls and schedule our field service engineers to repair our hire equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

**Key responsibilities**
- Our UK Forks’ service controller team are trained to provide basic level, first line technical support to our customers.
- You will receive regular product training to increase skill levels and knowledge to help maintain this important service standard.
- Our goal is to deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships by providing regular communication and offering a swift resolution to minimise site downtime.

**What we’re looking for
- Knowledge of hire equipment desirable not essential
- Knowledge of plant hire industry desirable not essential
- Customer service experience essential
- Experience of communicating / schedule engineering resource desirable
- Requires good keyboard skills and MS Office knowledge
- Excellent telephone skills are essential
- A desire to learn new customer service technical skills
