Solution Consultant

Solution Consultants work directly with clients, IT vendors, and internal teammates to deliver solutions. They are able to work independently and reliably according to the Implementation Manager's general instructions; they can be relied upon to supervise other people working on the project when required, and generally interact efficiently within teams. They are experienced people, passionate about solutions, with a strategic mindset but also the ability to go hands-on whenever the project calls for it. Delivering quality for our clients in a time
- and budget-effective manner is the Solution Consultant's main focus.

Responsibilities*:
**Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to**:

- Report to the Implementation Manager; support the Implementation Manager as required;
- Consult with Ready Computing customers on the best IT practices;
- Architect site-specific solutions based on the latest relevant paradigms and standards;
- Implement eMPI, Provider Directory, healthcare terminology (SNOMED, ICD, LOINC...) repositories and mapping, patient privacy/confidentiality filters, etc.;
- Develop ad hoc solutions using the designated/relevant technologies, as required;
- Log time each week in our time-tracking system;
- Take on other responsibilities and assignments from time to time requested by management.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- 5+ years of experience, both technical (hands-on) and architectural, with a strong client-facing component;
- Experience with EAI/ESB; Web Services (SOAP and RESTful); XML, JSON, and others; IP-based communication protocols; security standards and practices;
- Familiarity with the standards used in the healthcare sector, in particular (but not limited to) HL7v2, HL7v3, IHE, and FHIR;
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology standards like SNOMED, ICD, LOINC, etc., and their implementation (storage and mapping between code sets)
- Experience with modern source control systems (e.g., GIT); familiarities with tools like Confluence and JIRA;
- Proficiency in writing technical documents; experience with Quality (Document) Management frameworks/workflows.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with the InterSystems product line (Caché, Ensemble, IRIS, HealthShare);
- DBMS design and development, up-to-date knowledge of web development practices;
- Any experience working within modern projects; experience with delivery tools and methodologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science;
- Willingness to learn a variety of development toolsets and methodologies;
- Willingness to develop expertise in the InterSystems technology and product line;
- Oral and written fluency in English; control of other languages (s) is a plus.

**General physical and mental qualifications**:

- All positions require the ability to work on a computer for at least eight (8) hours per day. This includes fine and gross manipulation (typing and utilizing the mouse), looking at a

computer screen for extended periods of time, visual acuity (reading off of a computer screen). This also includes the ability to sit and stand for a combined period of at least eight
(8) hours per day.
- All positions require a minimum and infrequent lifting requirements (laptop).
- No positions require walking requirements apart from the travel and commute as stated in this section.
- All positions require the ability to talk on the phone.
- Most positions require occasional travel.
- All EMEA/APAC positions allow for working from home.
- All positions require the ability to focus on numerous tasks and project requirements throughout an eight (8) hour workday.
- All positions require the ability to work, communicate, and collaborate with team members, peers, clients, vendors, and other entities that the Company maintains business
