Are you looking for a friendly and supportive working environment where your efforts make a real difference? Melbicks Garden Centre is currently recruiting for a part-time **Kitchen Porter** to join our welcoming catering team.

**About the Role**:
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be helping the team deliver high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while supporting chefs and front-of-house colleagues.

**Your Main Duties Will Include**:

- Keeping all kitchen and food preparation areas clean and tidy
- Washing pots, pans, utensils, and crockery using both manual and mechanical methods
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required
- Unpacking and organising deliveries
- Ensuring all cleaning and safety procedures are followed correctly
- Working closely with the kitchen and café team to maintain a positive, safe, and efficient work environment

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Good team player who can also work independently
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided

**Working Hours**:

- 16 hours per week
- Shifts will include **weekend work**:

- All hours are **daytime only** - no evening or late shifts
