A large Plc based just outside Birmingham is looking for a new Finance Analyst to strengthen its growing commercial finance team.
Based in a high-growth division of this household name business, you will provide a business-partnering service to several operations managers - providing month-end and ad-hoc analysis on KPIs and performance against budget, setting plans to improve performancewhere necessary. Additionally, you will join several project teams to provide insight and analysis to help strategically guide large and important projects for the division.
This role will give you direct experience of understanding of what effects business performance, translating this into meaningful and helpful strategic information and using this to help influence future results for the benefit of the business - all in awell-known, high-growth and forward thinking business. It is the sort of commercial exposure that will help give you a great platform from which to develop your commercial acumen, and progress your career in commercial finance.
Ideally, you will:
- Be a recently ACA qualified accountant from one of the 'Big-4’ accounting firms, looking for your first industry role within a fast-paced, progressive business
- Have a strong academic record with natural drive and ambition, helping you drive your career forwards
- Be a naturally strong communicator, with the ability to deal equally effectively with people at different levels whilst retaining the ability to exert influence and gain buy-in
- Have the aptitude to be able to translate conceptual, strategic ideas into simple and implementable business objectives
