This role would suit an enthusiastic, confident team player with assembly experience and experience of working with small specialist components.

True Lens Services manufacture bespoke mechanical redesigned products for a variety of industries including Film and Television. This is an opportunity to become a true specialist for a respected firm at the forefront of lens and camera grip technology.

We are now looking to recruit and train a Lens Service Technician to join the Lens Service Team. This is a busy and varied role where you will be required to carry out repair, preventive maintenance and adjustments to broadcast and cinema lenses, which will include diagnostics, disassembly, cleaning, repair, reassembly and optical adjustments. Servicing will also include the cleaning of glass elements within the lens and you will use specific lens test equipment to diagnose and set up lenses. On the role training will be given as you learn the more intricate parts of this specialist technology.

Consequently a passion and interest in photography, cinematography and the filming industry would allow you to fully immerse yourself in the company’s forward-thinking lens innovation, though this is not a necessity.

To thrive in this role, you must have a calm and patient approach, ideally with experience of working with precision on specialist and delicate components. Attention to detail is paramount as well as the ability to work as a team and on your own initiative.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
Servicing broadcast and cinema lenses

Repairing/replacement of faulty parts

Setting up the mechanics and optics of lenses

Setting up electrical servos on broadcast lenses

Checking test equipment is within specification

**Role Requirements**:
Assembly/Technician background

**Job Role**:This is a permanent full time role, Monday to Friday.

**Previous Experience**: You may come from a background or have an interest in assembly, engineering, mechanical, Engineer, Technician, optics, electrical, optical, technical, photography, cameras, cinematography, lenses, lens, film industry

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
