**Job Description: Café Supervisor at Rocksalt Café**

Location: Earl Street, Dundalk

Reports To: Cafe Manager

Rocksalt Café is a vibrant and energetic establishment located in the heart of Dundalk, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Café Supervisor.

Job Overview:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of service is consistently delivered, managing customer interactions with a friendly and professional approach, and addressing any customer concerns or feedback promptly.
- Team Leadership & Motivation: Support the Café Manager to lead a highly energetic team to deliver exceptional customer service. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Cash Handling & End-of-Day Processes: Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and end-of-day processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Product Ordering: Oversee stock management, including placing orders, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all café operations comply with health and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and food safety procedures.
- Proven experience in a Front of House hospitality role, with some leadership or supervisory responsibility.
- Trained Barista with a passion for coffee.
- A strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a small team.
- Organised and detail-oriented, especially with cash handling, ordering processes, and inventory management.
- A positive, proactive, and energetic attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

**Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in Front of House hospitality with demonstrated responsibility for managing a small team and overseeing operations.
- Barista-trained with experience of delivering consistently great coffee.
- Experience in cash handling, stock management, and end-of-day processes is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and handling would be a plus.

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
