Morgan Oates Ltd is a highly experienced, award winning landscape gardening company based in Chiswick, West London. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality customer service during the creation of gardens. We are looking for an experienced Team Leader Gardener to lead a small gardener team and carry out daily garden maintenance appointments Monday to Friday. This is a hands on role, where you will be provided with daily schedules to attend pre-booked garden service appointments and regular maintenance. You will be expected to manage your time and team efficiently, carry out your duties to a high standard and deliver great customer service to your clients. You will be working with an assistant. We work with private top end gardens in North, West and South London. Salary depends on experience £24000 - £32000 a year. Temp to perm Contract - Start from middle of March although can be flexible with notice periods etc. Role Requirements:Maintaining client gardens to the expected high standard.Liaising and communicating directly with clients and the office.Lawn care.Mowing, fertilizing, moss control.Plant, shrub and tree care: pruning, insect control, pest control, fertilizing.Paving/deck care: pressure-washing, algaecide/moss away treatment, cleaning, sealing, oiling.Hedge trimming.Weed control.Mulching.Planting.Carrying out seasonal required tasks and activities.Installing Spring, Summer and Winter bedding arrangements.Installing, operating and maintaining water irrigation systems.Operating and maintaining tools and machinery.Hand-tools, mower, blower, hedge trimmer, long-arm trimmer, scarifier, pressure-washer.Operating and maintaining your assigned vehicle/van.Transportation and disposal of green waste at local refuse sites.Daily completion and submission of timesheets and expenses.Secure handling and storing of client keys and security/alarm codes.Ad hoc duties Person SpecificationPrevious landscape maintenance experience is essentialRecognized qualification or very high level of horticultural experience / KnowledgeFull clean driving license is essentialVery presentable with good client facing skillsFluent in English with good communication skillsGood plant knowledgeLiving Locally West London or within reasonable distancebe punctual
