SF Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for their well-established client based in Branston. Due to a some fast growth they are in need of a temporary Transport Team Leader. As part of the Logistic team this role will look after the day to day running of the transport.

This is a full -time Temporary role with the client. The client is looking for somebody who is driven and wants to progress with their transport career. The main responsibility for this role will be to execute the Transport plan ensuring the operation is efficient. You will be the first point of contact for all drivers and will be responsible for making necessary adjustments where required to make sure all loads are covered.

The client is looking for somebody who is self-motivated, organised and able to prioritise tasks.

The key duties for the role will be as follows:

- Plan vehicles to Production planning and pre-agreed systems.
- Liaise with Haulage suppliers on delivery dates/times and collect POD's where necessary.
- Coordinate with production to ensure product available for booking times
- Enter mileages, destinations, Diesel figures and drivers' hours
- Haulage Invoicing for outbound deliveries
- Collate and enter Agency Figures and provide PO No to Agency
- Driver de-briefs, memos (operational and H&S) and effective communication with drivers, shunters, and despatch to ensure smooth running of the night shift.
- Co-ordinating trailer movements from over-spill yard back to site and vice versa
