The Combustion Engineering Association (CEA) is a charity, registered no 253608. It has been registered with the Charity Commission since 1967 and has been in existence as an Association in one form or another since 1932. The main charitable objective is: to advance the science of combustion engineering and to promote efficiency, environmental responsibility and economy in the conversion, transmission and utilisation of energy for industrial and commercial purposes by providing a service for the public dissemination of knowledge and practices. In practical terms this is demonstrated through developing partnerships in industry, organising conferences and workshops, and providing support and information for a diverse membership and technical staff from all sectors. Other activities include administering nationally accredited training and assessment schemes for boiler operators and managers (BOAS) and industrial gas technicians (I-GAS), and the publication of several best practice boiler house guides..

Job Overview:
We have various training schemes used in the industry including BOAS & I-Gas. The person coming in will be responsible mainly for I-GAS. Full training will be provided.

The CEA has a small team of staff at NetPark and is managed by Charity Trustees who are based around the country.

**Duties**:

- Assist with administering a technical training scheme
- Help to organise training Assessors
- Sales and dispatch of technical guides
- Help organise on line and ‘face-to-face’ meetings

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in an administrative role demonstrating strong organisational skills
- High level of MS Office skill in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent English language skills, and good level of numeracy
- Willing to learn other bespoke software.
- Confidential processing of personal data to GDPR requirements
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Strong clerical and organisational abilities to manage office tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication

Pay: From £23,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
