**Kepak Mclntosh Donald** are looking for a **Meat Market Operative** to join our team on full-time basis.

**Working Pattern: 4**0h/week, Monday to Friday, 6am (need to be flexible with finish time)

**Role Purpose**

Responsible for stock movement and rotation of red meat for sale and consumption in accordance with client specifications and Company SOP’s.

**Requirements**:

- Unload product from chills, moving to designated location
- Handling product with care and consideration to maintaining quality and yields of meat
- Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets
- Minimise and manage waste effectively/as instructed
- Ensure product is of the highest standard, reporting any issues to the Line supervisor immediately
- Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the meat market, complete checks and ensuring materials are ready to use
- Perform all prestart, hygiene and safety checks as instructed
- Maintaining good understanding and knowledge of customer specifications and yields
- Complying with Company’s health and safety rules, including hygiene requirements
- Report all breakages, damages or defaults of equipment immediately to Line Supervisor, only using equipment when safe to do so
- Reporting any accidents or near misses, assisting with investigations as instructed/necessary
- Minimising and reporting of waste appropriately
- Maintaining and securely storing tools and equipment
- Actively participate in all required company training
- Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.

- Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Adaptable to change and production demands.
