Glasswell and Last Limited are looking to hire a new Electrical Supervisor, to work throughout the UK. Our Main Office and Workshop facilities are based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Our Electrical Installation Projects are typically within Suffolk, Norfolk and Northamptonshire but also other parts of the UK as necessary.

Our company provides Electrical and Mechanical services to a wide range of industries, such as Electricity and Gas Distribution but our main focus is predominately within the water industry in non-infrastructure projects i.e. new build and expansion schemes for clean and waste water treatment.

We currently have a requirement for an Electrical supervisor to join our team starting imminently.

Our business is accredited to ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO9001. Thus Health and Safety and Quality are at the heart of everything we do.

As supervisor you will be responsible for safely putting to work electricians and electrical apprentices within a construction environment, this will include daily briefing of RAMS, ensuring equipment is inspected and calibrated as necessary, managing on-site inventories, following design change procedures, red pen mark ups, testing and other duties relating to quality and safety compliance.
Any concerns and issues should be promptly informed to line management for resolution.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To safely put employees from apprentices to seasoned electricians to work daily, ensuring that daily briefings, sign in forms, point of work risk assessments, deliveries, plant and equipment checklists and other safety and quality-oriented paperwork is in order.
- Ensure good lines of communication with Safety Officer, Procurement and Project Manager throughout to ensure that safety and quality issues are effectively logged and managed and that jobs are delivered defect free and on-time.
- To install industrial electrical equipment to the standards required by the technical specification (WIMES etc.)
- To oversee the installation of subcontracted works including the induction of subcontractor’s personnel and checking of Risk Assessments and other required documents.
- To deliver an exceptional service to our clients and liaise with client’s key personnel in a professional manner as necessary to promote the interests of the business.

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Full Clean UK Driving License
- 3 Years + Experience as a Time Served Electrician with a relevant Apprenticeship standard or Degree level qualification.
- Industrial and Commercial Installation Experience
- 2394/95/91 Electrical Test and Inspection (Approved Electrician)
- Approved Electrical ECS Card or Similar CSCS Affiliated Scheme
- 18th Edition Training
- Site Supervisor Safety Training (SSSTS/SMSTS)

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Experience in the Water Industry.
- EUSR Clean Water Card
- EUSR SHEA Gas Card
- POSWASH
- Anglian Water Safety Passport
- Thames Water Safety Passport
- IOSH Safety Qualification
- Environmental SEATS Training
