We are searching for an experienced live in Housekeeper/Cook to help support a busy couple maintain their 8-bedroom, 6 bathroom and 3 reception room listed property in the south Warwickshire area. The couple are often in and out of the country or spending time at their other residence, so we require someone who is hardworking, self-motivated and flexible, with a 'can do' attitude.

Other cleaning and gardening staff form part of the wider household team and support catering staff are occasionally brought in when entertaining. You will therefore be comfortable running the household in an efficient, flexible and professional manner in quieter times but equally enjoy busier periods when the house can be full of guests and the wider family. You'll be a confident and competent cook and ideally will have previous experience of working in a large and busy household.

The role comes with a delightful self-contained thatch cottage, provided within the estate grounds and you will need to be available to be on site every other weekend if required. The working hours will typically be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday although you will be expected to assist with suppoer on one or two nights a week. A car is made available to carry out your duties from the rural location, the nearest town being a twenty minute drive away.

**Main Duties include**:

- Day to day running of the household, including hands on cleaning, washing and ironing.
- Cooking for the family and guests as requested using fresh produce from the garden. Knowledge of Vegetarian cooking.
- Supervision of staff for regular entertaining
- Occasional running of errands
- To take overall responsibility of security in the absence of the Estate Manager
- Expected to be in residence every other weekend
- Other duties will include dog walking, feeding the ducks and general involvement in the running of the estate
- Any other ad-hoc duties requested
