An accountancy firm in Sussex is looking for a new Senior Manager to join their team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has worked as a Manager within a small firm of accountants and now looking to tae a step up in their career and take on a more challenging role and progress skills and knowledge.

The role includes both client portfolio management and staff training and management too - giving you an excellent plethora of work activities and skills to fine tune.

You'll manage a mixed client portfolio and provide all aspects of accounts, tax and business advisory services - building great client relationships. You'' be involved in everything from speaking and meeting wth prospects, to quoting and billing and alsomanaging client expectations and updating clients with costs and time estimations.

You'll have great fun working with and developing junior members of the team. The firm have an outstanding reputation for developing individuals and you will be able to play a part in that. This allows people to keep learning and keep progressing, yourselfincluded. It also contributes to a great, happy and supportive working environment.

In terms of your technical work duties, you'll largely be responsible for the reviewing of year-end accounts, management accounts and VAT returns, although you may find yourself taking on some of the more complex jobs yourself - giving you a great balance.You'll be in regular communication with your clients and with the partners to, considering business strategy for both clients and the firm itself. This makes this role a great senior level, well rounded position with great opportunities for development andgrowth yourself.
