DESCRIPTION
We are currently expanding our dedicated Greenkeeping team and have an exciting opportunity for a **Seasonal Greenkeeper** who will have a vital role in ensuring our golf course is maintained to a championship standard. The role will be on a fixed term contract from May - September.
The Mere Golf Resort & Spa is a destination for business and pleasure, with an 81 bedroomed hotel, expansive wedding and event spaces, Championship golf course and an award-winning spa, set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in greenkeeping or horticulture preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Good communication skills
- Good work ethic and a team player
- A desire to work in an outdoor environment

**Duties will include**:

- Daily turf maintenance and preparation to high standards
- To achieve a high level of attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
- To communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, members and guests
- To always maintain healthy and safe working practices
- Good time management
