This role will offer an initial insight straight out of university into the world of an accountancy practice with proven progression and development potential.

**Role Description**

You will work alongside our qualified staff, Team Leaders and Directors, to provide advice to a varied portfolio of clients from different industries. You will be required to support the accounts/tax/audit teams in a number of ways, absorbing the work experience and knowledge along the way.

Your role may include the following:

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements for limited companies, LLP’s, partnerships and soletraders.
- Preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns
- Working and collaborating with other members in the teams in order to build strong working relationships.
- Providing assistance on various work as you continue to develop your knowledge. As your confidence grows so will your project management skills as you work to meet deadlines and budget constraints for clients.
- Working with various clients, building a strong understanding of their business.
- Visting client premises, testing systems and ensuring accounting records are accurate and timely.
- Helping clients to plan their remuneration in a tax efficient way.

**Training**
- We will fund your study towards the ACCA/ACA qualification.
- You will receive a full study package to ensure that you have the tools available to successfully complete your professional qualification.
- Our study support includes time off to study and attending college/online courses.
- We pay for first attempt exam fees, and professional body membership costs.
- Once your professional accountancy exams are complete, you may want to continue to a specialist qualification

**Profile**

You will have:

- GCSE grade B/6 or above in Maths and English
- University degree grade 2:1 or above (relevant to the business/finance industry preferable)
- Strong work ethic; the desire to get things done, and to learn and progress.
- Interpersonal skills; the ability to build client relationships with a foundation of trust and responsibility.
- Analytical skills; the ability to accurately and diligently assimilate information, grasp concepts quickly, research and solve problems.
- Passionate about offering a high-quality service to clients (including a high attention to detail)
- Credible and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Affinity with our values; in particular, respect for individuals, diversity and integrity.
