As part of the Conference Team, you will play an integral role in ensuring our centre runs smoothly, our guests feel a genuine welcome and a can-do attitude from all our team members.

Working with the Conference & Events Team you will work to create great memories for all our guests. Adopting the servant-hearted culture will make each of our guests feel special and you will have the support of your Meeting & Events Manager

As the Conference Porter, you will assist in the running of the entire meeting and events department, taking responsibility to ensure the very highest level of service are consistently delivered. You will have responsibility for ensuring our conference organisers, have the greatest possible experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up and break down event spaces according to specifications, ensuring all equipment is in place and functional.
- Assist with guest services by providing information and support during events.
- Manage time effectively to meet event schedules and deadlines.
- Utilise organisational skills to maintain order and cleanliness in event areas.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional hospitality.

Able to work flexible work patterns, including bank and public holidays, weekends and evening shifts as required according to a rota.

Whilst holding a Christian faith is not a pre-requisite, an understanding of and support for the Christian ethos and aims of the organisation and a willingness to work in that environment is an essential requirement for the role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,900.00 per year
