We are currently seeking an Events Assistant to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. This is an entry-level position that requires no previous experience, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in event planning.
As an Events Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of events. This includes assisting with logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that events run smoothly from start to finish.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with planning and coordinating events
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Assist with event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and catering
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Provide on-site support during events
- Manage event registration and ticketing
- Help with event promotion and marketing
- Assist with budget management and financial reporting
**Requirements**:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required
