Internal Sales Coordinator

**THE ROLE**
The Internal Sales Coordinator will carry out an all-round approach to the sales process, taking responsibility for the generation of leads, identifying new business verticals and pursuing warm leads generated via prospect lists and market research.
The individual we are seeking will be an ambitious professional who takes responsibility for driving business growth through winning new potential clients. They will seek to ensure that the new clients have their projects completed throughout the whole implementation process by working with internal teams.
The individual will hold a hunter mentality who takes pride in a high standard of work; success will grow from the ability to initiate prospect communication through cold calling, prompt response to sales enquiries and personal identification of new opportunities to grow Optimity.
**DUTIES**:
- Identifying, qualifying and closing new sales through self-generated approach.
- Follow up and convert inbound warm leads.
- Gain an excellent knowledge of product and service portfolio to be used during the sales process.
- Contact existing accounts for renewals.
- Create service orders, margin calculations and sales collateral.
- Aid in the launch of new marketing initiatives that will generate new business leads.
- Attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
- Prepare and conduct presentations and sales displays - when required.
- Development and creation of quotes and proposals.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Assistant in orders and cover during absences.
- Log all activities on our CRM database and update and maintain our CRM on an ongoing basis.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- 1 year sales experience within IT products.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Initiative, flexibility and creativity to solve tough problems.
- 2+ years of technology industry knowledge and current developments or an ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure and hit monthly sales targets.
- Excellent time management and organisation - with the ability to triage and prioritise all obligations.
- Experience of high-volume new business sales.
- Be a team player.
**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
