- Our client is a leading and nationally recognised consumer brand that is in the process of commencing a greenfield multi-year technology transformation Programme consisting of seven sub-programmes operating consecutively. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a long-term transformation programme where you will be responsible for designing and shaping the Defect Management strategy.

You will report into the QA Director and manage both an onsite and offsite Defect Lead. You will be operating at the senior leadership level with six Programme Test Managers as your peers. You will be required to liaise with the clients Technical Delivery Director and your peers in Programme Test Management to present effective Defect MI reporting and drive forward mitigating actions for high severity defects. Strong communication skills are essential for this role and you have the ability to design and document the Defect Management strategy in conjunction with the QA Director.

**Skills / Experience Required**:

- Keeps a close relationship with the Environment and IT leads to ensure environment is fully provisioned for testing.
- Ability to produce high quality defect MI and documentation for partners.
- Leads and adheres to the blocking issue procedures for recorded defects.
- Good experience in using ALM, Jira & Confluence.
- Ability to multi-task and handle numerous projects and tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to present complex ideas in simple terms customised to the target audience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in conducting full root cause analysis on high severity defects and drive forward mitigating actions to prevent reoccurrence.
