Geotechnical/environmental Engineer, Harrogate

My client is an award-winning Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental consultancy, with seven offices and clients that include many of this country’s leading developers, contractors and associated professionals. They are currently seeking a Geotechnical or Geo-EnvironmentalEngineer looking at developing their skills and experience to work at their office in Harrogate, on projects that vary in size and nature both in the North of England, Scotland and across the United Kingdom.
Joining my client, you will progress your career to Chartership on a sound technical basis by doing real engineering and environmental consultancy from day one. They won’t limit you to working on desk studies and risk assessments behind the scenes for monthson end. You will be able to progress your career rapidly, by gaining real experience of all stages of projects within a supportive team.
What you need:
- A degree in engineering, geology or geoscience
- A post-graduate degree in a Geotechnical or Geo-Environmental specialism will be preferable.
- Industry experience
- Understanding of UK Geology and basic knowledge of UK construction practice.
- Industry experience of relevant Health and Safety protocols and contract awareness would also be advantageous.

- Be self-driven
- organised and familiar with various forms of site investigation techniques
- capable report writer who can or is looking to develop design aspects.
- A positive team player who can work remotely
- with initiative working closely with our clients and supply chain.
- Industry experience of relevant Health and Safety protocols and contract awareness would also be advantageous.
