So, you’re a proactive people person, passionate about retail and offering the best customer service? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve ever considered a career in optics, this Customer Service Apprentice role could be perfect for you.
We are currently looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great Customer Service and would like to pursue a career in retail or management. This Apprenticeship opportunity will give you the chance to spend 13 months building the skills and confidence that come with training in a paid full-time job, all the time surrounded by a friendly, highly-experienced team who will support you every step of the way.

Main responsibilities
- Efficiently answer all telephone calls to the store, Advise customers of the current promotions and any relevant contact lens or product information
- Meet and exceed all personal and team goals
- Explore customer needs thoroughly, and approach customers to offer assistance
- Book and change customer appointments on the in-store computer systems
- Effectively deal with customer concerns and queries including in relation to multifocal lenses
- Resolve any visual problems that customers have with new glasses
- Actively demonstrate several ways to help control costs in your store
**What we’re looking for?**
If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Customer Service Apprentice. These include:
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers’ lives easier
- Great teamwork
- Confidence in using IT systems
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- A high standard of spoken and written English
- A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships with a wide range of people
