**The opportunity**

This is an exciting time to join Arup. We are looking for a talented, passionate, and innovative individual to join our Group Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) team. We hope you will love working in this team, the role provides the opportunity to learn about HSEQ management, moving from supporting the team, to learning and developing a career in HSEQ management. You will have the opportunity to get involved in projects to digitalise our HSEQ reporting, data and training solutions, gaining first-hand experience of managing change.

This is a pivotal support role and will make a significant impact on how the team functions, supporting the HSEQ change programmes. The role will involve being the ‘go to’ person within the team, supporting colleagues in producing quality deliverables and ensuring smooth operations. In return, you’ll receive training, mentoring and support (including formal training) to develop a career in safety and quality management.

**What will the role entail?**

This role will help organise the Global HSEQ team, supporting the introduction and management of the digitalised systems for safety and quality reporting, training, analysing, and learning. Some of the key tasks involved in the role include:

- Supporting HSEQ analysis and reporting - Supporting the implementation and management of a digitalised systems for HSEQ data, helping members use the system with training, advise and support.
- Support and coordinate the work of the HSEQ team - Supporting the organisation of the team, including finance and budgeting, providing training and support on Arup internal procedures, and providing overall team support.
- Support HSEQ governance - Organise, support, and participate in Group HSEQ governance activities, including the assurance reviews of the Regional HSEQ plans, risk assessments, etc.
- Lead the coordination and integration of Global team communication, including global team sharing activities, organising, and attending team events and training.
- Assisting with the organisation of social and staff events and working in collaboration with the business development and marketing team on client events.
