**Live In Carer**

Being a Live-in Carer is more than just a job - it is a calling

Live-in care provides round the clock support for a client who might have more complex requirements, who lives alone or who would like support at home on full-time basis.

As a Live-in Carer you will be supporting our client from the comfort of their own home, living with them on a 24/7 basis to provide care and support when they need it.

Depending on the type of care provided, you will earn around £750 per week, which includes your food allowance.

Your accommodation will be paid for and you will have access to a private bedroom, and use of the facilities within the home.

We generally require 2 or 3 Live-in Carers to each client, which will ideally run on a 1 week on, 1 week off working pattern.

**Your day-to-day activities as a Live-in Carer could include**:

- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Being there with them in the home for moral support, comfort and safety
- Household duties and light housekeeping to keep their house a home
- Assisting with their morning and night time routines
- Assisting with personal care, where required
- Helping to prepare our client’s favourite meals
- Helping our client by administering their medication
- Helping our client to engage in the local community, such as coffee mornings
- Taking our client shopping or to appointments
- Helping them to live as happily and safely as possible to get the most out of their time at home

**For this position**:

- You must have a least 6 months care experience.
- Be a UK Citizen and have the right to work.
- Driving licence is preferred but not essential.
