New opportunity for a Tax Senior to join the successful Corporate Tax team of this forward-thinking CA firm. This role would suit someone with 2+ years’ experience of working in UK Corporate tax, or currently working in a mixed tax or accounts/tax remit.

As Tax Senior, you will act as a role model for junior members of the team, and play a key role in helping them to develop their tax technical skills, as your build upon your own technical and commercial abilities.

You will manage an impressive portfolio of clients from a diverse rage of sectors, and act as the key point of contact for queries, research, and advice on corporate tax matters. You will begin to build your skills at review level, moving to a small review portfolio in the near future. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support with genuinely interesting advisory projects, including transactions, restructuring, demergers and overseas tax matters.

The firm offers heightened flexibility and can accommodate hybrid, office, or home working preferences, with a minimum requirement to attend the Edinburgh office for client meetings, team meetings, and training. Study support will be offered for those working towards or keen to begin professional studies.

As well as relevant tax knowledge and experience, you will be a confident communicator with excellent research skills. You will be a strong problem solver, with good attention to detail. Applications from those with corporate/mixed tax experience gained from accountancy practice, an in-house tax team, or HMRC are welcome.
