Clinical Coder

The following are the core responsibilities of the clinical coder. a. Accurately read-coding data into the patient record b. Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed actions c.
Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately h. Carry out system searches as requested i. Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times j. Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested The following are the core responsibilities of the Care Navigator.
Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately Signpost patients to the correct service Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies Read code data on Systmone as per the practice workflow Photocopy documentation as required Provide administrative support for the GPs and Nurses
