**£350 - £400 per week**

**Monday to Friday - (8:30 - 15:30)**

**The Role
As a nurturing teaching assistant,you will need to have a creative streak, be compassionate and uplifting. Some children don’t have the best start in life, and lack a support network around them, therefore it is essential that these children have the bestsupport while they are in the classroom.

You will be supporting a young girl in the year 2 class with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your main focus will be boosting the confidence and developing the communication skills of the young girl and bringing her out of her shell. This isa very rewarding role as you will be able to see the difference you are making to the child everyday. There will be a range of classroom
- based and outdoor learning involved.

**The School
The role is based in a small, welcoming primary school, with a family feel,in the Grangetown are of Cardiff. The school has fantastic facilities for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and you will have the full support of the classteacher within the classroom and the other school staff in the school. There are excellent transport links to the school and on-site parking.

- Enhanced DBS check and registration with the EWC (support can be provided with this)
- Eligibility to work within the UK
- Previous experience working with children (Desirable) - _This can be from a personal setting_

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
