Maintenance Handyman/woman

Huffkins is an award-winning British bakery and cafe tea rooms, owned and grown by the Taee family since 1999. We have 9 cafe tea rooms across the Cotswolds & London, three of which are concessions within John Lewis stores. We also have our craft bakery and head office in Witney.

We're looking for an experienced multi skilled maintenance person to join our team. Working under the direction of our estates manager you will be responsible for carrying out property maintenance tasks, both planned and reactive, to facilitate the smooth running of our properties.

This is a full-time role, working 35 - 40 hours per week. There will be a requirement to work early or late shifts to avoid front of house works interrupting peak tearoom trading times and also a requirement to respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner. Scheduled works are primarily Monday - Friday, but reactive works need to be covered 7 days a week.

Ideally you will have your own transport and access to tools. Mileage is paid at 45 p per mile. You must have a driving license and good written English.

You will need to be experienced in decorating, fixing, plumbing, tiling, basic electrics, general building fabric maintenance & handyman tasks. _(Our catering equipment is maintained by specialist service partners and we also have the support of specialist contractors to use as required for larger works and where required)._

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
