Ips in Primary Care Employment Retention Specialist

You will be working in partnership with individuals who are dealing with mental and/or physical health illness, employers and the local statutory and voluntary sectors to ensure clients are supported to retain employment. You will work closely with EPUTs Employment Support Services To work effectively with stakeholders and partners, including Primary Health services, GPs, IAPT, Occupational Health providers and Job Centre Plus Assess individuals to identify the level of service required, contributing to the assessment process, when their job is at risk and develop suitable strategies to manage their return to work or alternative outcomes. Working with individuals, and their employers, to understand the barriers & challenges, limitations and risks that may prevent their ability to retain their employment. To identify and meet the needs of individuals and their employers in order to support the retention of jobs that may be at risk due to an individuals mental and/or physical ill health and to intervene promptly to prevent escalation.
