As a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience working with young people with mental health co-morbidities, you can join theteam at Potters Bar Clinic - which offers compressed hours flexibility and a relocation package of £8,000.
Working 37.5 hours a week over 4 or 5 days, you will join a supportive and experienced team that provides care for children and young people aged 13 to 18 with complex needs (tier 4 service), where evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed forthe individual needs of each young person are provided.

You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CAMHs and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Potters Bar Clinic is contracted to provide services to the NHS and NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups. In joining Elysium, you will be able to continue to support the wider NHS patient group whilst working for an independent sector organisation.

There is an on-call element to this role (currently 1 in 6) which covers four existing Elysium CAMHS services, including Potters Bar Clinic, Brighton & Hove Clinic, Rhodes Wood Hospital and Cotswold Spa.
**Your Consultant Psychiatrist Responsibilities**:

- Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
- Conduct Admission assessment and ensure effective management plans
- Conduct risk assessment and review regularly
- Allocate specialist psychological treatments
- Assess physical health
- Ensuring effective liaison with referring/community teams, specialists and Commissioners.

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- To be registered on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practise.
- Have experience of CAMHS Forensic and/or Eating Disorders (desirable)
