Norwich, United Kingdom Big C Cancer Charity Full time

**Cancer affects us all in different ways. We know it can be difficult. Big C is here, across our county, to support anyone affected by cancer in any way.**

We have a **full and part time** opportunity for **Support & Information Officers** to join our Charitable Operations team at our centres in **Norwich.**

The objective of the Support and Information Officer role is to enhance the wellbeing of Big Cs service users through the provision of cancer information and support; in person, by telephone and/or video calls, facilitating support groups and referring the users to other beneficial services, such as our physical activity program, health walks, counselling and our wealth of holistic complimentary therapy services.

You will be joining the team at a hugely exciting time as we open the doors of our brand new community centres in Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth to our services users. This is in addition to preparing for the opening another Norwich centre on Dereham Road which will provide community based support alongside our existing centre in the grounds of the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. We are immensely proud of how our services and team have developed over the last 12 months to meet the needs of service users under the restrictions of Covid-19 and are excited about moving forwards in a way that provides the very best support both in person and virtually.

Big C's Core Values are **Respect Empathy Support Trust Honesty.** They provide a benchmark for behaviour across the organisation.
