**Ruby Developer (Mid or Senior) (Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SQL, Agile)**

Following recent investment and a having acquired several businesses, this tech team is scaling. There are multiple roles live currently including a Mid-Level or Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to come on board and add value to this high-functioning Agiledevelopment team.

As a Developer on the team, you will take initiative, ownership and make suggestions on projects. You'll get involved in creating user-friendly websites, apps, frameworks, service-layers, proof of concepts and prototypes using a range of technologies withina cross functional team. You'll have the opportunity to work across the full web development lifecycle and work within sprint planning and Agile practices.

You will add value to strategic architectural improvements and ensure to encourage best practices to improve user experience. You will collaborate effectively with the Testing, Release and Product teams. Each member of the development team will have dedicatedtime to conduct research on new and emerging technologies and make suggestions with regards to updates. Although you won't have any direct reports, you will get involved in coaching and mentoring Junior Developers.

**Senior Ruby on Rails Developer Requirements**
- Ideally you'll have 2+ years development experience
- Confident in your Ruby on Rails experience
- MySQL, JavaScript, AWS (desirable)
- Comfortable with Git
- Unit Testing (desirable)
- You will have the opportunity to get involved in Android & IOS Development if you wish
