Senior Designer

Dogstar Digital is a start up in a truly unique position. We’re based in the UK (mostly, for now at least) but we operate and market Financial Service brands and products in the Australia region. **The Role**:
We are looking for a bright, talented, ambitious designer to take ownership of all aspects of our products from a design perspective and move them to the next level. We want somebody who is hungry to deliver seamless user experience in line with very latest design and UX trends and best practices for our stable of Financial Services brands.

A key requirement of the role will be to overhaul the design and UI for an innovative product with enormous potential and even bigger aspirations. Think ClearScore, but 10x as disruptive and 10x as useful for the average consumer. We want our products to be the market leaders in terms of design and UX, we want you to be at the forefront of that and we will give you everything you need to achieve that.

This role will be at the absolute heart of our ambitious plans and comes with plenty of personal growth and development opportunities.

**Key responsibilities**:
Become the design and UX lead for all projects - design, modify and unify existing user interfaces and customer journeys.

Deliver attractive, stylish and up to date designs with fluid UX at their heart.

Organise and manage your time efficiently and productively. This is a fast-paced business that fails fast and moves forwards at pace, we’re looking for a designer that can slot in to that environment and thrive.

Quickly and completely pick up a solid understanding of all products and user journey.

Develop a deep understanding of our customers and their lifecycle across various products.

Buy in to our offerings and become as passionate about their success as we are.

Design, own and execute the long-term strategy for design and UX across multiple brands.

**Essential Skills and Requirements**:
Minimum of 3 years Web Design experience in a commercial environment.

A track record of high-quality UX delivery on complex web and mobile projects

A diverse portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design across web and UX.

Knowledge of best practices in design and customer experience alongside industry trends

A solid understanding of the digital eco-sphere including various traffic sources (Social, PPC, SEO).

Flexible and able to perform under tight deadlines

Proactive, energetic approach

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset.

**Desirable**:
Financial Services Experience would be an enormous plus.

Some cultural or business experience of Australia would be a big plus.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
