We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sauce team. Based primarily within the Cookhouse area you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for production. This role is Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am

**What's the role about?**

Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will be based, primarily, within the cookhouse. You will be responsible for processing food ingredients to an agreed standard of quality and hygiene during the shift.

All tasks must be completed in a manner to achieve the safe, hygienic, efficient and best-cost manufacture of all designated products to the required quality, specification and quantity.

The role also requires the safe use of both Counter Balance and Pedestrian Electric Hand trucks to move ingredients required for production, training will be provided if required.

- Be a strong team player with the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as being able to work independently
- Organised, conscientious and be confident in their ability to operate machinery
- Awareness of basic food hygiene (trained in-house)
- Awareness and understanding of all CCP’s for the line
- Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety
- High level of numeracy and literacy as well as working accurately in completing paperwork and in calculations.
- Good Communication skills - working collaboratively with operatives and the Technicians and Team Leader

**Salary**: £13.03 per hour
