Hours: Mon - Thu 7am - 4pm Fri 7am - 12:45pm
Pay: Based on Experience
Contract: Permanent
A local manufacturer in Kidderminster are looking for a Laser Operator to join their growing team. A very rewarding workplace with the ability to progress and learn all kinds of other manufacturing processes.
The duties of a Laser Operator:

- Loading steel into the tower loader
- Load offcuts into the machine by hand
- Liaising with supervisors to ensure the correct order of cutting
- Cutting all types of materials Stainless, Brass, Mild Steel, Aluminium
- Ensuring the scrap box is emptied daily and cleaning the lens protectors daily
The requirements of a Laser Operator:

- Having the versatility to change up from the schedule to cut urgent jobs when needed
- Ability to identify different types and grades of steel
- Amada experience desirable
- Good attitude to work and pride in your job
- Ability to check a first off using verniers, rules and tape measures
The role of a Laser Operator is working on a Permanent basis, for a competitive salary, loading and cutting metals - assisting with other duties when required.
