You will be responsible for leading a team on the management of employee relations cases and generalist HR advice. Working closely with and supporting the HRBP, you will provide highly specialised advice, HR training and support to managers on a range of highly complex workforce issues including organisational change and role redesign, policy and practice, seeking advice from the HRBP and Organisational Development where appropriate.

**Key Objectives**
- To assist in the professional management of the Human Resources function providing a proactive, innovative and comprehensive service, reflecting best practice at all times and implementing a minimum standard.
- To support the Operations Directors and their teams in an advisory and strategic capacity, ensuring a high level of communication and professional support for all colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the team providing them with guidance and support on a full range of HR activities (including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, performance management etc.) in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management throughout the Company.
- To line manage a HR team Employee Relations Advisors, including appraisal, and supporting personal development
- To be an expert for all HR employee relations matters at an operational level for all areas of the business, for example, leavers, absence, performance capability, probation, and disciplinary matters.
- Responsible for managing the day to day delivery and administration of the company’s disciplinary and grievance policy’s and processes, and taking steps to address them by working within and across HR to support the business.
- Planning and organising a number of complex HR projects i.e. multiple employee relations cases and organisational change. Where there is a need to allocate and re-allocate tasks to the HR team
- Ensure the collation of weekly/monthly reports for the Operations Board on HR statistics and updates on casework.
- Project management of key initiatives as required supporting continuous improvement across the people plan.
- Responsibility for managing all HR administration processes management and analysis to include recognition awards, sickness recording, exit interviews, minutes and documentation required for all HR meetings.
- Monitor operational performance and service level agreements through the analysis of KPIs / metrics, use KPIs to identify trends that enable learning, improve feedback and make recommendations to policy and procedure
- Responsible for supporting managers at formal hearings as appropriate influencing to ensure robust decisions that meet performance and behavioural standards of the company.
- Responsible for ensuring the management and delivery of initiatives for employee engagement to include delivery of the people plan, listening sessions, on boarder feedback and “you said we did”.
- Ensuring that HR policies, procedures and forms are kept up to date, compliant with relevant legislation, understood and applied consistently across the business.
- Commissioning services, projects or activity that supports the delivery of HR and departmental strategies and objectives; working with Operations team to ensure that services meet business needs and are delivered to agreed standards and timescales

**Key Requirements**
- Certificate in HR or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience within a HR or Employee Relations Leader role
- Proven experience of designing, reporting and analysing data
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in developing systems to improve processes
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a wide range of people at all levels.
- Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in an appropriate manner.

**Salary £35,000 plus £3,000 car allowance**
