You will be working closely with your lead, the Head of Law Enforcement and Government Response **Your Purpose** Your role as Law Enforcement Response and Outreach will focus on protecting Aaqua members by addressing escalations from law enforcement and Aaqua team members and communicate with law enforcement to promote Aaqua's policies and principles. **Your Focus** Your contribution will include: - Manage inbound law enforcement requests for data based upon legal process, civil legal demands, and other governmental or legal investigations and takedowns to ensure compliance or rejection in accordance with applicable law and Aaqua’s policies and guidelines - Engage with law enforcement to address escalations with legal process, inform on Aaqua's proposition, available data, policies and to alert public safety officials to emergency situations - Demonstrate operational excellence by evaluating risk, threats and balance user privacy in time-sensitive emergency escalations - Handle sensitive online content in credible threat and Member harm situations - Participate in on-call emergency rotation which may occur outside regular business hours - Collaborate with the larger Safety & Integrity team to improve policy, procedures and identifying upcoming threats for our online community - Keeping abreast of domain knowledge which includes privacy regulations, industry trends and law enforcement due diligence processes and laws **Your Journey** - You should have excellent track record in trust & safety operations, law enforcement, crisis management with experience in social media or internet industry - Proven ability to make important decisions by assessing threat and risk independently with ability to perform in a highly fast-paced online environment, while respecting legal and privacy parameters - Great interpersonal and communications skills as you will be required to work alongside internal and external stakeholders - Mentally and emotionally resilient to offensive, disturbing, or illegal behaviour, language, and content fast-paced online environment, while respecting legal and privacy parameters - Great interpersonal and communications skills as you will be required to work alongside internal and external stakeholders - Mentally and emotionally resilient to offensive, disturbing, or illegal behaviour, language, and content **Your knowledge**: Given your epic background, you will have deep understanding of the online threat environment and how different types of threat actors exploit the online space.
