We are looking for multiple Residential Support Assistants to support learners in an SEN school based in Wokingham, Berkshire

The school runs an education site and also a residential site for children aged between 5 to 16 years old. The school caters for children with Social, Emoitonal, Mental Health needs (SEMH).

As a Residential Support Assistant, you will work closely with the children on site with day to day activities indoor and outdoor. You will be assisting with 'home life' activities and also classroom based activites to support the children in the learningquarters. Outside of the school hours, you will be supervising in a number of extra curricular activities such as swimming, dancing and ice-skating There is also the chance for supporting the children with independent ventures out to the main shopping center,go out to the community to help with volunteering and even a nice treat to the cinema

You will be playing a big part in supporting young people's lives helping to build their confidence, independence and social skills so this is an opportunity NOT to be missed

The role is an active one, so you must be prepared to have a lot of fun as no two days are the same here

Although this role is located at the residential sites,
**there are NO waking night shifts,**
therefore you are NOT required to live on site nor a night shift

The hours are shift work throughout the year: 7am to 4pm // 2pm to 10pm - with flexibility on the shifts.
