**Estimator/Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Flooring**

Job Title: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Flooring

Location: Dartford or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £40,000-£60,000neg + Discretionary Bonus

Benefits: Car Allowance (£300 p/m) + Comprehensive Benefits Package

The role of the Estimator/Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Flooring will involve:

- Estimator/Quantity Surveyor role dealing with a high end range of tiling and commercial flooring such as: ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble, amtico, vinyl, laminate, timber & carpet etc
- Producing estimates and quotations to a number of tier 1 contractors such as: Redrow, Morgan Sindall, Barratt Homes, and McCarthy & Stone
- Managing the full process of tenders and estimations from start to finish for client operations
- Gathering proposals, blue prints, drawings and specifications
- Carrying out the pricing up of jobs efficiently to get back to clients
- Producing accurate BOQs to fully execute project bid proposals
- Complete all tender documents and submit accordingly
- Will be required to go and meet client and carry out site surveys, predominantly within the M25
- Working on projects varying in value up to £2m
- Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Flooring with:

- Must have Estimating or Quantity Surveying experience within the flooring market sector
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Must be used to working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects
- Must be commercially aware
- High attention to detail
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Self-driven, results orientated with ability to multi task
- Robust, positive outlook and team player (able to cope well under pressure)
- Mental agility, enthusiastic and articulate
