**Enrichment Officer**

(Full-time, 40 weeks (Term time only plus 4 weeks))

We are looking for a vibrant and motivated Enrichment Officer to actively engage with students, with a focus on promoting positive behaviours and attitudes and to support them to reach their full potential.

As an excellent communicator, the post holder will play a key role in the encouragement of student participation in all college wide activities, promoting excellent attendance and engagement.

**About you**:
Ability to communicate with young people in a 1:1 or group work capacity is essential. A Youth Work qualification is desirable. A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one is required.

**JOB TITLE**: Enrichment Officer

**REPORTING TO**: Enrichment Coordinator

**JOB SUMMARY**:Actively engage with students on a day-to-day basis to promote positive behaviours and attitudes and inclusion. Responsible for delivering a range of activities and events to enhance the student experience with a focus on wellbeing, personal development and student inclusion. The post holder will play an important role in the encouragement of student participation in all Enrichment and Student Voice activities at Stanmore College.

**MAIN DUTIES**

1. Devise, plan and implement a calendar of engaging, student responsive enrichment activities, ensuring a positive and well-rounded experience at the College that supports behaviours & attitudes, wellbeing and personal development.

2. Develop activities that support and promote cultural, and community identities represented within the College.
- Develop a friendly but efficient working relationship with students, working alongside colleagues to ensure that students attend lessons on time.
- Actively liaising with students in tutor groups, the Student Lounge and around the campus to promote positive behaviours and attitudes.
- To proactively support the College’s student voice and ensure that students views are sought. To attend Student Parliament and Student Union meetings as directed by the Enrichment Coordinator.
- Supporting the day-to-day supervision of the Sports Hall, Fitness Room and the Student Lounge.
- To develop ideas around the constructive use of spaces within the College to enhance student recreational time.
- Ensuring the safety of all users participating in all enrichment activities and dealing with any first aid situations.
- Overseeing the maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness in and around the Sports Hall and the Fitness room.
- Setting up and clearing away of all enrichment activities, keeping a stock-take of all equipment and laundering equipment, where necessary.
- Undertaking coaching/supervision of all enrichment activities as required.
