The Production Engineer will be the link between Manufacturing, Projects, Procurement and

Aftermarket to support smooth running of the business.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

The primary responsibility of the Production Engineer will be to ensure that the manufacturing drawings are analysed correctly and efficiently.

The Production Engineer will liaise with Procurement.

The Production Engineer will also have the responsibility for the proper control of stock.

**The areas of responsibility include**:
Support Manufacturing Manager with production scheduling

Participate in engineering reviews of shop drawings.

Stock control responsibilities (Stock, surplus and slobs).

Responsible for stocktake to ensure our stock overall stock discrepancy is kept to as low as possible.

Co-ordinate stock returns onall items returned from completed

Projects and objectives completed within time and budget

**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:
Experience of working in a manufacturing/fabrication environment

Experience of working in an Engineering environment

Experience of reading and understanding engineering

Resourceful, well organised, highly dependable, efficient and detail

Minimum HND/degree in an engineering discipline
