ACS international School Cobham is recruiting for a 2x General Assistant to join the team. Our focus is very much on our employees, without our fantastic catering team we would not be able to offer such a diverse range of great quality services. We are seeking an experienced general assistant with a good sense of customer service values and people skills to build on what is already a fantastic team.

About ACS Catering.

Food - Here at ACS, we offer a diverse and varied menu using the freshest ingredients available to us, over 90% of our food is prepared and cooked in house with all the latest trends, and as an independent school we are lucky to have the funds for top quality equipment and produce.

Customers - We currently have just over 1300 students and 300 staff at Cobham, 150 of which are boarding students, the students and staff are truly international giving us the opportunity to not only promote equality but to be able offer a great range from all around the world.

You - We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic General assistant to join a growing ACS Cobham Catering team

Responsibilities And Duties.
- To adhere to and actively work within the guidelines of the HACCP policy.
- To have a joint responsibility in preparing the Food Court for opening service
- To operate tills points during this service, also deal with customer queries
- To set up, serve and clean down service areas after the school service, if necessary, liaise between the duty chef and the duty lunch supervisors.

Based at ACS Cobham with occasional travel to other campuses working 5 out of 7 days on a weekly rota to include some evenings and weekends.

About you.
- Must have good communication skills
- Must possess sufficient numeracy skills to operate tills,
- Possess literacy skills to understand and fill out HACCP checklists.
- A passion for food and great customer service is essential.
- Experience in a similar food service job is preferred although training will be provided
- Due to location, own transportation highly recommended

This is a permanent, full-time role, term time role working mainly Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work (approximately 1 in 5).

**Salary**: £11.95 per hour
