The recruitment team in West Sussex County Council are looking for a Resourcing/ Recruitment Advisor to join our team to support across childrens Recruitment within the council.
The Resourcing Team is made up of 23 people, The Resourcing Manager is Angela Oakley reporting into her we have our Permanent Recruitment Team, Temporary Recruitment Team, and Talent Attraction team.
**Salary**: £29,577- £32,234
**Working Pattern**: Full-time (37 hours per week)
**Contract Length**:Permanent
**Location**: County Hall, Chichester

You will report to the Recruitment Team Leader and manage a small team of recruitment administrators.
**Key Skills**:
- Ability to understand and analyse resourcing requirements to produce short
- and long-term resourcing plans and strategies to meet demand.
- Ability to work effectively with others to achieve team objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to manage and lead a small team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate, respond and meet/exceed customer expectations with a continuous improvement mindset.
- You will be resilient and have the ability to manage challenging situations and competing demands including ensuring recruitment policies and practices are adhered to by hiring managers.
**Qualifications and/or experience**:
- A background in recruitment, either in-house or agency, with a knowledge of recruitment resource strategies, attraction and selection processes, including the ability to develop screening criteria and interview questions and champion the legal and ethicalrequirements in recruitment.
- Previous experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Psychometric Testing Levels A & B (desirable).
- Level 4 Diploma in Recruitment Management or equivalent HR qualification or experience
- Experience of working within Children’s Social Care. **Desirable**
