**Warehouse Supervisor**

Packaging Source is a packaging products supplier, focusing on providing bespoke packaging solutions to multiple industries.

We want to hire a competent and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Logistics department.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist the Operations Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the warehouse, to ensure products are prepped and/or assembled, ready for installations and assisting stock movements of goods in and out, all while ensuring that staff comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures. Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**
- Picking and checking all orders and place in the correct area for delivery or collection.
- Labelling and unloading pallets of goods
- Receiving incoming goods
- Checking invoices and routing to the appropriate area
- Maintaining storage area by organising floor space
- Regular stock counts
- Preparing shipping documentation and other related paperwork
- Managing incoming/outgoing/quarantine/damaged stock
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy anytime
- Assigning daily tasks to the team
- Managing and motivating the warehouse team in order to ensure that productivity and service targets are achieved or exceeded.

**Requirements**:

- Educated in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Associate or a similar role
- Thorough understanding of stock control and inventory maintenance
- Awareness of Health and Safety and ability to practice safe working methods
- Previous management/supervision experience
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse software programs along with MS Office proficiency
- Outstanding knowledge of supply chain management
- First Aid trained
- Fire Marshal trained
- Updated and valid forklift license
- Proven ability to coordinate and direct operations. You should be committed to getting the job done
- Proactive character, able to take the initiative and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Good communicator, friendly yet assertive

Based in Dartford, 28 day holidays including bank holidays, Salary: £30.000 Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dartford, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- forklift licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- fire marshal certification (preferred)
