- Reports to: Restaurant Manager
- Hours: Wednesday - Sunday (evenings) Approximately 32hrs per week
- Salary: Starting at £10.50 per hour
- Location: Pentonbridge Inn, Penton, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 5QB

OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual with a passion for hospitality to join our team at Pentonbridge Inn. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to join an award-winning 3AA rosette and 5 AA gold star restaurant with rooms. Previous experience will be considered secondary to your own disposition and character - a great attitude, the ability to work well in a team, and a willingness to learn are all we ask for This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our small and growing team. We are located 6 miles from Longtown, so you must be able to get to us without public transport.

The Front of House team member we are looking for is primarily responsible for hosting our guests. A Host is responsible for making sure that the customer has the best possible experience when arriving at Pentonbridge Inn. Duties include but are not exclusive to greeting restaurant and hotel guests, showing customers to their respective tables/rooms, and taking bookings over the phone. Additionally helping the F.O.H Team were required with running service, including waiting on tables and assisting with the closing/ de-setting of the restaurant.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

- Greeting guests as the first point of contact.
- Being the face of Pentonbridge Inn, delivering our ethos and values to ensure a memorable customer experience.
- Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times to always meet our guest’s expectations.
- Building a strong product knowledge so our food, beverages, and ethos can be communicated to guests.
- Limited Management of Bookings, either in person, over the phone, or online
- Working with the F.O.H team were required during service.
