**Salary**: £35,000 to £40,000
Work Patterns: Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week (24/7 operation so some night shifts could be required)

The responsibilities of the successful Health and Safety Manager are:
- Formulate policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Train all employees in your health and safety procedures.
- Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks.
- Develop a correct procedure for reporting accidents.
- Respond to any safety complaints and concerns raised by employees.
- Take responsibility for first aid procedures.
- Manage emergency procedures
- Lead by example
- Legal and technical understanding of H&S regulations
- Working knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR (advantageous)
- Experience of implementing safety processes and procedures
- Hold a clean UK Driving License for occasional visits to the Head Office
Required Qualifications:
- NEBSOH General Certificate Minimum
- NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent is desirable
- Experience within environments spanning across logistics, warehouse, distribution, (Retail desirable).
- A high level of ability to communicate and engage with all levels of personnel
In return the salary is £35,000 - £40,000 plus package.
